About the Authors
|
Mike Ancas is a senior editor at Grassroots Motorsports Magazine, and has been racing both RX-7s and Hondas since 1989. He's also had dozens of RX-7, Honda, and Acura tech articles published since 1990. In 1998, Mike was asked by Classic Motorbooks to write a performance handbook for the growing number of Honda and Acura owners who wanted to hop-up their cars. The Honda and Acura Performance Handbook is one of the first "virtual" books, as new articles/chapters continue to be posted on this website to keep readers informed of up to date products, tech tips, and project cars. In December of 2000, the Mazda RX-7 Performance Handbook was released. |
Dale is an active autocrosser and since he drives a 12-second RX-7, he will occasionally go to the drag races. |
Dale Black has been owning, driving, and working on RX-7s (all three generations-carburated and fuel injected) for 16+ years. He has done extensive product research and has comprehensive knowledge of all RX-7 systems, with special expertise in the 1993-95 cars. He has 5 years of autocrossing RX-7s under his belt, and is a self-described "RotorHead". He is the President of the West Penn RX-7 Club (see links page), and built a model of a visible 10A motor when he was 7 years old... and knew what it was! |
